Collette Dinnigan

Collette Dinnigan is an Australian fashion designer born in South Africa and raised in New Zealand, before moving to Australia where she began her career with the ABC. She launched her eponymous label in 1990 with a lingerie collection, and in 1995 became the first Australian designer to show a ready-to-wear collection in Paris, establishing an international reputation for her refined, romantic aesthetic.
